A prequel to 2021’s Backbone, Tails: The Backbone Preludes is pitched as a ”narrative and thematic prequel to Backbone.” that will introduce “a plethora of new gameplay elements, interactions, and puzzles, as well as choices that affect each story from start to finish.”

Eggnut was established in 2017 and is a fully remote team of 15 devs as of 2022 based across Canada, Georgia, USA and the Netherlands- with producer Ishani Birch and co-founder/designer Nikita Danshin based in Canada.
